Items Needed

Attached is the list of items recently requested by the Iraqi families.  As the number of families being accepted for resettlement has curtailed in the recent months, the list is not as extensive.  And we are focusing on families that have been here for a year or less.  That also makes a difference.

If you have any of the items and can deliver them, that will be appreciated.  Just let me know and I will give you the name of the family and their address.  If you have something that needs to be picked up, let me know and we will try to find transportation for them in a timely manner.

Thanks for your continued interest in the Iraqi families.  Some of the families are doing well.  Others continue to struggle to make ends meet.  One of the families was recently burned out of their apartment.  They are now in another apartment and are doing OK.

The challenges the families face are enormous. Thanks for your assistance in making their adjustment to their new 'home away from home' a little easier.

Shalom, Salaam, Peace,
